The Perur Aadheenam has the legacy of being part of the Kailaya Meikandar Guru Parambarai with a rich history of more than 500 years. The Aadheenam was started by the great guru & saint, Shanthalinga Adigalar, in the early 17th century as a source for learning Tamil and Saivism from renowned gurus.
