From 1998 free medical consulting on every Wednesday is given for the People in the Mutt where the people below the poverty line could come and visit the hospital. The Mutt also runs a free Siddha Hospital in Ooty from year 1938. Free medicines are distributed to the needy patients. The Mutt conducts more than 20 medical camps under the Tribal Welfare. Nearly 5,000 people are benefitted from it. Mutt with the help of benevolent doctors and donations conducts heart surgery for 15 patients a year.
The new establishment of Medical Hospital Construction work was started in the month of January 2019 in the name of H.H Santhalinga Ramasamy Adigalar Memorial Hospital to provide best service in the Medical Field and also to help the poor people.
The Medical Hospital is funded by the few benevolent donors of the Coimbatore region. The trust is incorporated and the trustees have given Rs One Crore each and the land is provided free of cost by Swami Maruthachala Adigalar and his sister Mrs. Gandhimathi Raghupathi ( Valivalinilai Arangkaavalar ).
